"Garden Delight" is an original British garden birds painting on mappa wood. It is a collection of my favourite garden birds. This piece of original artwork has been hand-painted in acrylic paint. The wood has live edging along both sides giving it an authentic woodland feel.

I paint British wildlife on wood rather than canvas as I love using wood as a natural and sustainable background to my artwork. Much of the wood that I work with is reclaimed and therefore has some beautiful markings and character that deserve to be preserved and celebrated for years to come. This is a one-off piece of British wildlife art and having been coated in a flat matt varnish for protection, it should stand the test of time and can be treasured for a life-time.
