This is Lewis the very handsome Stag. Lewis is part of of my British Wildlife on Wood collection and has been lovingly hand-painted at my Hampshire home on a stunning piece of reclaimed oak. The reclaimed wood has some very distinct and beautiful markings adding to the painting's originality. 
 
Lewis has been beautifully framed by my good friend, Heidi of the Rustic Picture Frame Company in very old pit-sawn oak. This oak, most likely came from a French Barn and is at least 200 years old so is steeped in history. 
 
This beautiful stag painting is a one-off original piece of wildlife art and would look beautiful in any room in a house, suiting most styles of decor. Horatio comes complete with fixings attached to the back so is ready to hang on your wall.
