This pheasant painting on wood has been framed in a stunning picture frame which was made from 500-year-old French oak and has been hand-made by Heidi of the Rustic Picture Frame Company. 
 
"Pierre", was inspired by the beautiful old French barn oak which has a very rustic, farmhouse feel to it. The combination of colors of the pheasant and the richness of the old French oak give this framed pheasant painting on wood a very warm, welcoming feel. 
 
The piece has been painted in acrylic paint and then coated in a matt varnish for lasting protection against water damage and UV.
